Standard Retrofit Single Action
The Standard Retrofit Angel Ventlock is another ideal limit control device for use in after-
market applications. This Window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is mounted to the
top sash on a double hung wood window.
The Standard Retrofit Angel Ventlock version fits into the stile of the top sash and must
be mounted to restrict the bottom sash opening to less than four inches. These units are
single action, so installing one on either side of the sash ensures compliance with the
code ASTM F2090 - 2008 and 2010.
Various sizes and finishes of the Standard Retrofit version are shown below. Selection
is determined by measuring the window gap between the top sash and the bottom sash.
Simply measure the distance between the two and select the part number from the chart
below.
